Women is awarded compensation for car accident
A woman has been awarded with tens of thousands of pounds in compensation after she sustained whiplash injuries as a result of a car accident.
The woman, who has previously worked as a care worker, had set up her own business as a tattooist after retiring.
The woman was a passenger in the car when the accident took place. She explained that she has been left with pains in her back as a result of the whiplash injury. In addition to this, the woman had to take time off from working and only operate three days a week instead of her usual six days.
She decided to claim for compensation due to her personal injuries and lost earning. She proved that she had a large customer bases and could have made a substantial amount of money if she was working her regular hours. The woman was awarded with a sum of more than £65,800.
