Elderly man awarded compensation for road accident
An elderly man has been awarded with a six figure sum of compensation, after he was injured in a car accident.
The man was driving by himself at the time of the accident when two drivers in front of him hit each other, leading to an unavoidable crash between the three vehicles.
The two drivers in front had been competing with each other dangerously on the road.
The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for a range of personal injuries, including whiplash injuries as well as to his back and legs. The man was also said to have been affected psychologically.
As a result of the accident the man has needed to hire help for when he is at home and his mobility has been affected drastically.
He contacted no win no fee solicitors as he decided to make a compensation claim. With the legal assistance, the man was able to receive £145,000 in compensation.
