Passenger compensated for whiplash after crash
A man who was a passenger in a car has been compensated with tens of thousands of pounds after he sustained personal injuries in a car accident.
At the time of the accident, the man was being driven by a friend who was driving the vehicle. The driver was following another car, which was trying to turn right without warning.
This caused the driver to force himself to brake and crash into the back of the other car.
The car accident caused the airbags to activate and hit the passenger on the wrist. Whiplash injuries could also have been likely as the man jolted forward in the collision. He was taken to hospital where he received surgery for his wrist. After the operation the man needed to wear a plaster cast for several weeks. The man revealed that he still feels pain in the area.
He decided to contact a personal injury lawyer who helped him to secure a compensation claim worth £26,000.
