Woman suffers whiplash after two-car crash
A woman has been airlifted to hospital after she suffered serious personal injury due to a car accident.
The local police say that a Mazda and a Citroen collided on the A614 near Farnsfield on Sunday evening.
The woman, who had to be cut from the wreckage following the crash, is suspected to have broken a few bones and also suffered whiplash. It is unknown if a whiplash claim will be filed.
Police have arrested one man after the two cars collided near a Nottinghamshire village.
Two other passengers, who were travelling along with the woman in the Mazda, also suffered personal injuries though not as serious as their companion. They were rushed to hospital by ambulance. Police said all three were from Lincolnshire.
The motorist who was arrested, was a male and was driving the Citroen Saxo. He came from South Normanton, Derbyshire, and was released on bail later.
