The 15-year-old was the most seriously hurt, his condition is said to be critical but doctors at the hospital have said that his condition is stabilising.

Hospital representatives have also said that none of the injuries to any of the youngsters are thought to be life-threatening.

One of the remaining two youths is said to have suffered whiplash injury but it is unlikely that his injuries are serious enough to be able to get him into any serious health problems.

It was reported that the silver BMW they had stolen hours ago overturned in the accident. There was no evidence of any other vehicle being involved in the crash.
