Passenger suffers whiplash as car spins off road
A 23-year-old woman has suffered whiplash after a car spun off the road in Greater Manchester.
The Vauxhall Astra was on a slip road off the A666 to Manchester Road in Bolton, when the crash happened.
The accident has left a motorist critically ill and two other passengers severely injured.
A spokesman for the local police said that the car rolled over several times during which two of the car's occupants were thrown out.
The 20-year-old driver of the car, who resides in Little Hulton, is said to have suffered multiple injuries in the car accident.
She is currently in a critical condition and being treated in the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The incident also left a 29-year-old man with serious arm injuries and a 29-year-old woman with serious facial injuries. They were both travelling in the car during the time of the incident.
Both remain in hospital, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The woman who suffered whiplash has since been discharged from hospital. It is unknown if she will file a whiplash claim.
