Teen suffers whiplash injury
It has been revealed that a four-car accident, left a number of people suffering from whiplash injuries.
Emergency workers arrived at the scene of the four-car injury accident in the southbound lanes of a busy road.
According to Deputy Ben Veader, three vehicles were stopped at a crossing section when a fourth vehicle ran into the rear of the last vehicle. The impact sent the third car crashing into the vehicles in front.
As a result, a 14-year-old boy in the third vehicle received personal injuries including whiplash.
Another driver also sustained moderate injuries. It is unknown if any victims will file a whiplash claim.
All of the injured parties were taken to hospital by ambulance. None of the names of the parties involved have been revealed.
Dr Trisha Macnair reminded whiplash victims: “If your symptoms don't start to settle within a few days, it may be worth seeing your doctor for further advice.
“If you have any symptoms that you find particularly worrying, see your doctor sooner rather than later,” she commented.
