Two suffer from whiplash

A road in Ipswich has been reopened after a car accident which left two people injured. The two people injured suffered
whiplash and needed to be cut from a car by fire-fighters after a two vehicle collision this morning at shortly after 8am.
The accident involved a white Mercedes van and a silver VW Beetle driving school car. A man in his late teens and a man in his 30s were both cut free from the VW Beetle and taken to Ipswich Hospital to be treated for neck injuries suspected of whiplash. This crash comes in the light of many car insurance companies warning that wintery road conditions with increase the likely hood of car accidents. The most common accident being cars skidding into the back of other cars, this type of rear end collision is the most common cause of whiplash. Many are advising drivers to take extra care on the roads this winter.
