ABI’s whiplash conference

Every year there are around 250,000 people who suffer from whiplash injury due to a road accident and more than half a million people seek whiplash compensation. Therefore with every one in 150 people making a whiplash claim it is becoming a very serious subject indeed.

In an attempt to help solve the problem ABI’s third yearly motor conference will examine how to prevent such accidents, tackle false claims and how to better look after and compensate those who have been injured.

The conference will house key car insurance companies, representatives of major road users, vehicle manufacturers, road safety experts and lawyers. The meeting will discuss accident preventions and provide better care for whiplash victims.
