Whiplash claims allowing intelligent technology

Insurances have found a way to cut down on
whiplash claims">whiplash claims.
Some car manufacturers have built new devices in order to prevent collisions by stopping vehicles too close to the cars in front. Monitoring how tight a car is in a traffic situation, will brake automatically from the driver at the latest moment possible to prevent an accident.
Being aware that 80% of accidents that cause whiplash claims are related to low-speed crashes, these lasers and radars will definitively decrease the number of victims. Alternatively, insurers have already announced that they will give incentives to their clients who are using the products. These intelligent technology tools being expensive, insurers have thought that giving incentives to clients will be a better deal in terms of avoiding claims.
If every car were equipped with one of the devices, a 50 per cent reduction of
whiplash injuries would be realised every year. The only thing to keep in mind for people using these lasers and radars is that it will prevent the driver to take risks because the car will be on emergency braking all the time.
