Fast food causes Deep Wound

An infant has sustained deep laceration to her head whilst eating in the children’s seated area of a well known fast food restaurant.

The 5 year old girl was injured as a result of an excessively sharp corner on a children’s table and chairs set in a well known fast food restaurant.

The child has sustained a two inch scar above her left eye as a result of the accident. The girl slipped off her chair and banged her head on the corner of a table that was designed for children however did not have rounded edges.

The mother of the infant stated “Initially, we could not figure out how she cracked her head and then when I felt the corner of the table it was ridiculous how sharp the corner was. My daughter will have to live with the scar for the rest of her life, this is unacceptable.”
