Mother compensated after trip from a pothole
A woman has been compensated with thousands of pounds after a trip from a pothole led to a personal injury. At the time of the incident the woman had been walking to a neighbour’s house to collect some things for her young baby, where she stepped into a pothole in the ground.
Her right foot was caught and this caused her to fall and she then landed on a broken fence post which had been sticking out of the ground.
She was taken to hospital to be treated for her personal injuries, which included a fractured cheekbone and cuts and bruises along the right side of her body along with a large cut to her eye that required stitches.
Due to the seriousness of her personal injuries the woman decided to seek compensation and contacted a no win no fee personal injury lawyer. With the help of the personal injury lawyers the mother was able to receive a compensation claim of £3,000.
