Woman sues shop for faulty product

A woman, who fell and hurt her wrist while using roller shoes, has sued the shop where she bought them.

Roller shoes have two to four wheels and are designed to fit over a pair of trainers to allow you to roll around. They are the new craze, leading on from roller boots and inline skates, and have become very popular. Like must kinds of roller skates or boots, roller shoes do attract an element of risk, and you need to have a good sense of balance to use them and not fall over.

After purchasing her roller shoes the woman, took them out for a spin when one of the wheels fell off, causing her to fall and hurt her wrist. On closer examination she discovered that a spring was missing from the roller shoes which caused the wheel to come off. She claims that the shop is at fault for selling her a faulty product, which has lead to her sustaining a personal injury.Updated on 16/05/2008
