No win no fee lawyers help with crash cases

A school teacher has been awarded with an initial sum of compensation after she was involved in a near-fatal car accident.

The teacher, who was one year into her first job when she was involved in the horrific three-car crash, is lucky to be alive.

The 25-year-old sustained serious personal injuries in the car accident, which was not her fault, and had to sign off from her work as a teacher for almost nine months.

During this time she was only entitled to two months' full pay and two half pay. The school teacher who is from Motherwell, said: "At first I contacted my insurance company, but they were really unhelpful and took ages to return my calls. If I'd relied on them I would probably still be waiting for a phone call."

A friend told her to look into making a no win no fee claim for compensation. She then went to look at personal injury lawyer firms, and chose one to represent her.

With their representation, she went on successfully to win a £10,000 interim compensation payment, from the insurance firm which was representing the driver who had admitted his guilt and public liability for the car accident.

The interim payment means that the compensation claim is an initial payment, which can be added to at a later period.

The school teacher said: "The no win no fee personal injury lawyers couldn't do enough for me, they were attentive and brilliant."

She added: "The £10,000 has made all the difference. It let me get on with my life and keep my head above the water."

Help in seeking compensation

In another similar case, a woman was compensated and provided with help from her no win no fee solicitors, after she was involved in a car accident, while her vehicle was stationary on the road.

The woman was involved in the car accident in December 2007, when she was waiting at a junction and a Local Authority's trailer collided into her motor causing damage.

The woman contacted no win no fee experts at a personal injury lawyer’s firm who raised court action on her behalf to recover outstanding costs for car hire and repairs to her car.

The woman was delighted with the outcome of the court action and received £1,700 and was extremely appreciative towards the no win no fee solicitors for their help with the case.

Stockbroker helped with compensation claim

No win no fee personal injury lawyers have helped a trainee stockbroker secure £75,000 compensation, for the serious injuries that he suffered after he was involved in a car accident.

The man was seriously injured in the collision and sustained extensive personal injuries to his arms. He turned to no win no fee specialist lawyers to help him with his compensation claim and his case was funded by his father's Trade Union, the DPF. The man walked away with all of his compensation sum.

After the legal battle, the man said: "The case became very complicated because it turned out that the casual acquaintance who gave me a lift was driving his parents' car without permission when he crashed. He later disappeared and could not be traced for the court proceedings.

"The no win no fee solicitors did a tremendous job in dealing with all the complications that my case threw up and I am delighted with the compensation I received following the car accident."
