It has been revealed that compensation claims have been flooding in by individuals who have stated they received personal injury from a notorious street in Liverpool.
The West Derby Road in the area has witnessed seven accident claims being filed by pedestrians who have tripped or fallen whilst walking on the pavement.

Depending on the nature of the personal injury, lawyers have been able to win sums ranging from £2,000 up to £14,225.
It is not only in this street where cases are high. In England and Wales pavement claims have meant that every local council has shelled out around £1 million per year.
However, with financial worries caused by the economic downturn, many individuals have attempted to file fraudulent cases in an attempt to win a huge payout.
Such cases have forced local authorities to clamp down on cons and identify the scammers.
