Man who suffered horrendous work accident makes no win no fee claim
A Yorkshire man who suffered in a work accident is now looking to take out a no win, no fee compensation claim against his former employer, as he is holding them responsible for the serious injuries he incurred as a result of the accident which he suffered. The man, 22 years old, was working on a building site in York, where a new supermarket was due to be constructed, when an accident involving the excavator which he was operating took place.
He found himself trapped between the excavator and the construction site’s entrance gate, suffering severe injuries before he could be extricated from his position. He had, subsequently, to be rushed to hospital, being placed in intensive care.
The outcome of the case remains to be seen.
