£20,000 for M4 accident victim

A man has made successful road accident compensation claim for his injuries, and the earnings he lost from being unable to work for a few months following an accident on the M4 that was not his fault.

The victim made his personal injury claim through personal injury Solicitors, and was represented by the  Associate Solicitor. Reports suggest that the crash happened as he was travelling on the outside lane of the M4 motorway at around 10:30pm. A stationary vehicle was blocking the lane, with no warning signs or hazard lights, and he collided with this vehicle.

The victim sustained several injuries, including whiplash type injuries to his shoulders, neck and back, an injury to his left hip and bruising to his right hand, his right shoulder and his face. His injuries were attended to at a nearby hospital.

Before the accident he was preparing to set up his own company as a self-employed business consultant. However, following the accident, he was forced to put these plans on hold for about 6 months. During this time he missed out on income from the work he would otherwise have been able to undertake. He decided to seek compensation against the insurance policy of the other driver.

His claim was taken on by the no win no fee Solicitors, and with the evidence from the medical reports showing the impact of his injuries had had on his life and his business plans, the other driver’s insurance provider offered compensation under a No Win No Fee basis.
