No win no fee claim settled out of court
A woman has received compensation after a successful no win no fee claim was settled out of court.
The 24 year-old nursery worker was injured after she fell down a pothole in the car park where she worked. Her no win no fee claim was successfully settled out of court and she was awarded £3,750 in compensation by her employer.
The woman remarked: "The car park has many potholes which I believe had been there for many years. Quite frankly it was an accident waiting to happen. I just hope now that the holes can be filled in so that other people don't go through the same pain as I did."
The personal injury solicitor representing her case against her employer added: "Because staff and children walk across the car park it should be made much safer. The task of ensuring the car park is even and pothole-free is a simple one, and if it had been done properly a painful injury could easily have been avoided".
