What will an injury lawyer do?

When you appoint an injury lawyer from Accidents Direct they will run the accident claim for you from beginning to end.

From the initial outset the Injury Lawyers will assess your claim and determine whether you have a claim that they will be able to pursue for you.

Your appointed firm of solicitors will deal with your claim by telephone and assess this for you over the phone, saving you time and effort. A home visit can be arranged if required.

Once this has happened they will send you what is known as a ‘CFA agreement'. This will be for you to peruse in your own time and to return to the solicitor. This document provides the solicitor with your permission to run the claim for you.

The injury lawyer will then send your compensation claim through to the third parties insurance company who will have a certain amount of months to decide whether to accept or deny liability. Your solicitor and legal representatives will be there to advise you and will do all they can to obtain the best settlement for you with the insurance company directly.

Our injury lawyers operate using a no win no fee* agreement and our injury lawyers would never take a deduction from your compensation*. It is yours to keep 100%*. Our accident claims are totally risk free and there is never any question that you will be asked to fund or finance your claim. If you place a claim through Accidents Direct then we will be able to claim compensation for you without you having to pay a single penny*.

Your Injury Lawyer will compensate you for your loss based on the following areas of the law:

Special Damages

  • This represents compensation for items that can be calculated in certain terms and will include lost wages, out of pocket expenses and medical treatment.

General Damages

  • This represents compensation for items that cannot be calculated on a mathematical basis but need to be looked at subjectively. They include but are not limited to items such as pain and suffering, loss of employment and disadvantage on the job market.
