Family seek compensation after improper health & safety
The family of a man who was crushed to death at work has spoken out about findings which show that there were breaches in the health and safety procedures at the man’s workplace.
The man, who was in his late forties, was trapped in a machine, but he had not been provided with training to use the equipment according to the report.
The man’s daughter spoke about the accident saying: “To have lost your father in this way is devastating. As a family we are still coming to terms with his death.”
The personal injury lawyer, who represents the family, said: “The answers reveal that although he had 30 years of experience in the print industry, there was no evidence that he had training in the operation of the machine in which he was killed or misfeeds.”
