Evening out for dinner leads to compensation
A woman has been awarded with thousands of pounds in compensation after she was injured during an evening out with her husband.
The woman, who is in her early sixties, was having dinner with her husband at the time of the accident. As they got up to leave the woman slipped and fell to the ground. It was later found that she had slipped on a meal that had spilled on the ground.
The woman was taken to hospital where she received treatment for the personal injuries that she sustained. It was found that she had fractured her hip, which meant that she needed to undergo surgery and is also affected by reduced mobility.
After the hospital treatment the woman decided to seek a compensation claim for the injuries that she sustained. She contacted a no win no fee solicitor who helped her receive a sum of compensation which was worth £11,750.
