Boy receives compensation for injury caused by toy
Injury lawyers represented a child who broke his leg as a result of his inflatable ball pool collapsing have secured more than six thousand pounds in compensation for the boy. The boy was playing on the toy when it suddenly deflated and caused him harm.
When the store who sold the defective toy was contacted they offered a mere fifteen pound refund and no apology. The injury lawyers claimed that the store had a responsibility to ensure that the products that they are selling are safe and manufactured properly. In this case it would seem that the product was faulty and this lead to a huge amount of agony and discomfort for one small child.
The boy was taken to hospital after the accident where it was found that he had a twist fracture which required a plaster cast bandage up to his waist to be worn for six weeks. The product fault is believed to be an isolated incident.
