Man seeks £300,000 in compensation
A man is seeking £300,000 in compensation after suffering from multiple injuries including a broken back as a result of a car accident.
The man had been driving in the West Sussex borough of Crawley in June 2006 when he was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle.
As a result, he required extensive hospital treatment after suffering from head injuries, four broken vertebrae, and fractures to his hand and thighs.
He also underwent surgery to have pins and plates inserted.
He is now seeking £300,000 in compensation from the other driver after claiming that he is still suffering from ongoing pains and is unable to walk without the aid of a stick.
He also stated that the accident has made a big impact on his life he is unfit to work due to the severity of his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle that was involved in the incident is said to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. He was convicted of drink driving and was given a four year driving ban.
Meanwhile, injury lawyers have helped settle a claim for £50,000 to a 61 year old who suffered personal injuries as a result of a car accident.
