Women gets five figured figure for car accident injury
A young woman has received a five figure compensation claim after she was involved in a car accident.
The woman, aged 29 was a passenger in the car, when another vehicle, which had wrongly been parked on the central reservation, pulled out and into the path of the woman’s car.
The driver tried to avoid the car, and ended up hitting a lamp post. As a result of the car accident, the woman sustained sustained three fractures to her right femur, a fractured hip and a broken pelvis.
The no win no fee solicitor, who represented the woman said: "If it hadn't been for the seatbelt she was wearing, she could have suffered severe if not fatal head injuries.”
In addition to this, the woman could have sustained whiplash injuries as a result of the collision.
The Solicitor also added: “I was pleased with the outcome of the case. Together with the settlement we were also able to successfully set up a personal injury trust to safeguard my client's benefits.
“Despite my client continuing to suffer from pain in her lower back and knee as well as flashbacks and nightmares she has mentioned how delighted she is with the outcome and how much it will help her to move on with her life."
The woman was able to receive £95,000 in compensation and the driver of the other vehicle was convicted of driving without due care and attention.
