Driver may face compensation claim for car accident
A driving instructor who was injured recently in a car accident has revealed she may be seeking compensation, after suffering serious injuries.
The car accident took place on the A18 west of Grimsby, a spot that has been described as “extremely dangerous” by parish councillors. The driving instructor was seriously injured in a collision which took place when her car, a Ford Fiesta, with a young girl, who was receiving instruction at the time, at the wheel, collided with an oncoming Ford Ka.
The 51-year-old driving instructor was treated for her injuries, which damaged her head, legs and pelvis, at Grimsby’s
Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital. The 17-year-old learner driver also suffered some personal injuries, though these were comparatively minor. Serious internal injuries, however, were also suffered by the driver of the other car involved in the collision.
Following the completion of police investigations into liability for the crash, one or more of the victims may be entitled to bring forth a car accident compensation claim.
