Car accident claims the lives of two American students
In America two fatal car accidents involving seperate cars has claimed the lives of two Auburn University students.
The Auburn student body were shocked and upset to hear the devastating news of their fellow freshmen. Andrew Jackson Thurmond IV, who was 18 years of age and 19 year old Hunter Lane Keel, both died in separate car collisions, which both have been thought to have been fuelled by alcohol.
Thurmond was in a car with a fellow Auburn student, driven by Scott Leighton. It is thought that the crash happened because Leighton ran off Alabama Highway at high speed on Wednesday around 10pm.
In a separate incident, Keel died on Saturday around 4.15am. The accident occurred on Lee Road 66 miles west of Auburn. The representative stated that Keel was ejected from his vehicle as he was not wearing a seat belt. Due to no accident preventions Keel died instantly.
