Police want to question inheritor to billion-pound Company

Police officers want to speak to Hans Kristian Rausing, 44, the heir to the multi billion pound drinks carton company, Tetra Pak. If follows eyewitness reports of his car being driven erratically and that he had failed to stop after a car accident.

After police turned up at the £5 million family home to arrest Mr Rausing, who is currently on bail over alleged drug offences, he is alleged to have jumped from a window to evade capture. His solicitor is thought to have contacted Scotland Yard to arrange an interview time for his client.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said, “We can confirm that a member of the public attended Ealing police station to report an Audi Quattro having failed to stop following being in collision with his vehicle in Chiswick at approximately 8.40pm on the 15th June.

“At 8.45pm we were contacted by a member of the public to reports of a car driving erratically on the M4/A4. Officers attended an address in Chelsea to make further inquiries but the registered keeper of the vehicle was not at the address. Inquiries continue.”
