Work accident claim takes flight

An airways employee has filed an accident claim after he suffered injuries at work.

The male worker dislocated his shoulder when he was helping a colleague move a trailer that had been put in the wrong place in December 2007.

As a result, he slipped and fell, creating his personal injury. Therefore, he has filed the claim totalling to the amount of £250,000.

The victim, a father-of-three, said he still suffers from pain when doing the daily chores such as taking out the rubbish, removing things from the fridge and driving. He has also been out of employment since the incident.

After working for the firm for 30 years, he may now need a shoulder replacement operation to decrease the pain and suffering, according to a writ issued at the High Court.

He was working at Heathrow’s Terminal 1 when the incident occurred.
